Take Exit 28 (formerly 22) which says Coastal Route 1 Brunswick.  Follow this through Brunswick and at the end, you will come to your third traffic light and see a sign for Route 1 North.  Make that left (there is a Cumberland Farms/gas station on your left) and a Boothbay Harbor sign.

 

Follow Route 1 North through Bath, Edgecomb, Woolwich and Wiscasset and go across the two bridges in Wiscasset (first is after Red's Eats on your left, second is after Shoes Store on your right). After the second bridge, make a right onto Route 27 South and follow about 9.3 miles into Boothbay.  As you come into town, the Baptist Church will be on your right, the Boothbay Common on your left, and a memorial of a soldier straight head. Bear right at the memorial of the soldier.  Come to stop sign go straight through stop sign.  In approximately ¼ mile and you will see Barters Island Road on your right. 

Take a right onto Barters Island Road. (Road name changes to W. Barters Island Rd and then to West Side Road).  Our Caitlin’s Cove is at 64 Higbee Lane (drive way is dirt with some rocks currently.)  Sign is mounted on trees.
